Terra Pro Natural Gas

Proven Dependability. Unmatched Versatility

The Mack TerraPro Natural Gas is built on the back of the same renowned Mack chassis you’ve come to trust. It’s available in cab over and low entry models and is designed from the inside out for maximum driver efficiency.

With a low-profile dash for exceptional visibility, easy-to-reach controls, ergonomic joystick placement and ample storage, these cabs are designed to make the workday seem a little bit less like work. With new engine mounts, cab bushings and rubber isolators, noise and vibration are dramatically reduced for a smooth and quiet ride. Our legendary camelback springs add stability and improved steering to help make rugged applications easier. And with the back-of-cab Body Link™ and the in-cab Control Link systems as bodybuilder interfaces, these trucks are easily compatible for a host of refuse and construction applications.

The TerraPro Low Entry features the largest cab door openings in the industry along with convenient, one-step entry and exits. And with the easy-on/easy-off Mack work brake that allows for efficient starting and stopping by quickly parking the truck on its service brakes with one simple motion, cleaning up the neighborhood is a snap.

The Best of Both Worlds

The best-selling refuse trucks in the industry, the Mack® TerraPro™ Cabover and Low Entry have partnered with the leading natural gas engine manufacturer — Cummins Westport — to bring you the cleanest refuse trucks on the market today. The Mack TerraPro Natural Gas delivers an alternative fuel engine technology that combines all the advantages of clean-burning natural gas with the power and torque expected from a Mack truck for residential and commercial trash collection. And since natural gas is a readily available U.S. resource, this truck helps reduce our U.S. dependency on foreign oil.

The Savings Add Up Fast

The TerraPro Natural Gas not only meets EPA 2010 and CARB emissions levels, it also sets a new benchmark for lower alternative fuel vehicle life cycle costs. In high fuel use applications, the lower alternative fuel costs and lower incremental maintenance costs can save you valuable fleet dollars.

Multiple Natural Gas Fuels

The TerraPro Natural Gas is capable of operating on compressed or liquid natural gas (CNG, LNG) and even landfill gas (LFG) or hydrogen compressed natural gas (HCNG) that meets Cummins minimum fuel quality specifications.
